The Office of Traffic Safety provides grant funds to statewide and local safety partners via NHTSA federal funding.
The Office of Traffic Safety announces the opening of its traffic safety project proposal period for the 2024 grant year. The Office of Traffic Safety is seeking projects that address the following priorities:
· DUI Enforcement
· Court Monitoring Programs
· DUI Courts
· Drugged Driving Data Collection
· Law Enforcement Agency Phlebotomist and/or eWarrant programs
· Employer Based Traffic Safety Programs
· Data System enhancements to improve traffic records
· Teen Driving/marijuana and substance use
· Occupant Protection education and research: Adult and child seatbelt and car seat use
· Community child safety seat check events
· Tribal communities traffic safety programs
· Motorcycle safety for drivers and riders
