Impaired Driving Program

About Nevada's Impaired Driving Program

The goal of this program is to reduce the fatalities and serious injuries resulting from impaired driving crashes on Nevada's roadways.  Three general areas make up the program in Nevada; enforcement of DUI laws, effective adjudication through Nevada's judiciary system, and increased outreach and awareness efforts.

Nevada Committee on Testing for Intoxication

The Committee on Testing for Intoxication was established by Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) 484C.600 as a five member committee appointed by the Director of the Department of Public Safety.

Forensic Toxicology Laboratory Assessment

Assessment conducted on behalf of the State of Nevada by the Traffic Injury Research Foundation.
